What is Tarot? 

Tarot is a divination system using 78 Cards.  Most decks have 22 trumps, 16 court cards and 40 pip cards.  Oracle cards are similar but typically are not structured as Tarot and have far less cards.

What can Tarot do for me?

Tarot can give you an objective view of a situation.  Tarot can also give you insight to what path you are on and what the future may bring if you stay on this path.

What if the Tarot gives me an answer I don’t like? 

Well that is the great thing.  Tarot is a PROJECTED view.  At anytime you can assert your free will to change a situation you don’t like.

Should I ever feel scared or out of control at a reading? 

NO!  Tarot is not here to frighten you, tell you to quit your job or divorce your husband.  If you feel a reader is telling you to do these things or you are uncomfortable or scared…stop the reading and find another reader.

Can Tarot tell me the color of my cat? 

NO Tarot readers are not psychics that can tell you your name before you tell us.  Tarot simply gives you an objective view of things to help you make better informed decisions.

When did Tarot start? 

No one is sure.  Some say ancient Egypt, some before.  There are tarot decks dating back in the 1400’s and divination techniques that seem to be as old as time.

Why do all my readings say the same thing? 

You may need to restate questions or look at situations differently.  Many people go to several readers and ask the same thing and get the same answers and feel unsatisfied…you need to look within yourself for what answers you are really seeking.

Which deck do I choose?

Well that is up to you…choose something you feel comfortable with or that you feel drawn too.  Sometimes a deck looks lovely but when you hold it/look at it, you just aren’t drawn to it.  This is normal.

Will Tarot always answer my questions?

Not always, sometimes the Tarot gives you advice that it feels is necessary.
